Experimenting with non-modeling metal etching primer. More on less pleased with how it went on; will let it cure a few days before trying some color over it. Always energizing to move beyond bare brass.
It is an old Alco Models brass E44, which I bought used, without a box, and in not mint condition. Fitting a Stewart (now Bowser) C-628 drive. Some compromises on the underframe, with which I can live to have a decent-running E44.
