What you’ll get here is more of what showed up on Up Dunes Junction–thoughts on model railroading and its culture, ongoing model railway projects, railfan photography.

What’s different is the platform. Up Dunes Junction used Blogspot, a blogging platform that has sadly been neglected by its Google owners, and was never really user friendly, or at least as user friendly as we’ve all come to expect from modern apps and digital services.

The new platform for Further Up Dunes Junction is WordPress–easier for me to use, and for you readers to enjoy. Sister modeling blog Sprue Pie With Frets runs on WordPress, and it has a number of handy little features, like email subscriptions and cross-posts to Facebook. Importantly, getting photos into WordPress posts is easy as pie, so look for more imagery to accompany my imaginings.

Things will look a little half-done for a while, as I lock down a template and other blog frippery.
